In the Flow
I finally wanted to write a cheerful song that grooves, makes you want to dance and simply makes you happy. African rhythms and chants automatically came to my mind. Everything flowed so smoothly and easily, just IN THE FLOW, also thanks to the groovy bass and drums of my band mate, Thomas, and of course the brilliant guitar sound of my wonderful friend Fábio.
Thoughts
I wrote this song (piano and lyrics) at a time when I was intensely concerned with my thoughts and how they influence my life. Inspired by the Buddhist approach that thoughts can be both your friends and your enemies. After recording the song with just vocals and piano, we thought it would be great if we could add a suitable beat. I asked Alex, a musician and producer I had met on Instagram, and luckily, he was immediately on board. Besides of drums He also added guitar and Rhodes piano. The pulsating rhythm of the bass and this raw and clear beat of the whole song, composed by Espen Skaar (@dreamingwhileawake) had a powerful effect on me and made me write this strong lyrics and the corresponding vocal melody. This collaboration was amazing, and I look forward to more! Thank you so much Espen!

IS THIS YOUR LIFE
I wrote this song because the topic is on my mind. I often have the feeling that I mainly react to what comes from the outside. Life always follows the same pattern. It feels like the autopilot has taken over instead of me taking the wheel and consciously living the life I want.
People'd Rather Run Than Learn
Inspired by the images of the war in Ukraine, this anti-war song was created. We know from history that war only leads to losers, on all sides. But still, we learn nothing and produce weapons that lead to death and destruction.
