Originally, the war images from Ukraine influenced me to write this song. It's a terrible coincidence that right now, when we release our new song, another country is affected by war. Children in school learn in history lessons that war only leaves losers. But unfortunately, this message never seems to lose its relevance.
Does it make sense to produce weapons? Unspeakable suffering and destruction are followed by arduous, protracted, and costly reconstruction, and then? Does the cycle of violence and counter-violence start all over again? In everyday life, our microcosm, I think we should model for our children how to deal with each other and resolve conflicts constructively, which is honestly not easy. And on the macro level, there is no alternative either.
Everyone deserves a peaceful life.
